I spent a week here in February. Very peaceful and quiet with dark skies and lots of birdsong - just what you want from a Devon cottage. The cottage is warm, cosy and inviting, well insulated with underfloor heating (useful in February), comfortable with a good shower/bath and lots of hot water. It has a large double bed with nice furnishings and furniture throughout making the whole place feel like somewhere you want to spend time. The kitchen is well equiped and spacious. Sunny days bring lots of sunlight into the property and on others there are plenty of bright ceiling lights (as well as more discrete lamps) so you dont feel you are sitting in the gloom as with some other properties. The property is remote - pub 1.5 miles, shops in Bideford 3-4 miles but the area is beautiful. One of my favourite properties already. Ideal for a couple or single wanting a bit of winddown time in nature. ...
