The communal games-room is located near the orchard, just across the country lane from Swallows Rest.
Take a leisurely stroll along the River Gannel at Newquay.
Why not have a go at paddle boarding. Newquay has lots of options for all abilities.
Newquay is only four miles away, and has lots of amenities and activities to keep the whole family entertained.
St Agnes is a short drive away, and has a wonderful cove you can splash about in all day long.
Cornwall is famous for its beachside cafes, all serving delicious locally-sourced food and drinks!

We had a fabulous 2 week stay with our 2 little girls and doggo. All of us loved the house and garden, great for marshmallows round the fire at the end of the day and the neighbouring horses were very friendly :-) The house has everything you could want and was very comfy and beautifully decorated if it's a rainy inside day. The location was also great, very easy access to local beaches and also a good central spot for travelling further around Cornwall. Couldn't have asked for more really. The owner was really friendly and welcoming as well, she popped in a few times to check if we needed anything. A perfect holiday :-)...

Swallows Rest is a great property with well equipped kitchen. Extremely comfortable beds and furnishings are so cosy! Best place!! Close to many great beaches. Games room was great fun!

The property was as described the house was very comfortable and so where the beds. Position was idea for exploring both coasts. Liz the owner could not have done anything else for us. Only down side was the pub was not in walking distance. The house made up for it and the peace and tranquillity was brilliant a great say. ...
