A beautiful , spacious and well furnished and well equipped cottage in a perfect location in the heart of the lovely St Agnes . Friendly & welcoming neighbours. The cottage is in a great location & we highly recommend The Sorting Office for coffee & cake , St Agnes bakery for bread & pasties . The Tap House for food , The Driftwood Spars for a Sunday roast & all the other local shops & businesses .Managed to park close by during our stay without any issues. One thing we would add about previous reviews is that there was absolutely no noise from the pub & we never heard the cockerel & slept well the whole week . Dogs in the village no issue at all & no sign of any dog mess either. St Agnes is a beautifully kept village . We will definitely be re-booking 7 Churchtown. ...

Stayed here for a week for my husbands 40th birthday. Really beautiful cottage, comfortable and luxurious with all amenities and great attention to detail. Shower was brilliant, TV and channels were good. We had a very comfortable stay here - my son loved all the cushions!. The scones were such a lovely touch, we were very grateful for these. The local bakery is incredible, amazing portion sizes, costs and great quality. Will visit if ever in the area again! Also a local artist in one of the shops next to the cottage is defintiely worth a visit. Location good to visit Falmouth and national trust beaches. Quite a steep walk to the beach, but nice to be able to visit for a few hours in the day. We didn't eat out much, but did visit the Peterville inn, which was lovely for the family and good service. Recommend the fish and chips. A couple of niggles - the local pub is visible from main bedroom window and locals tend to stay outside until late, which you can clearly hear in bed. Also, cockerels wake daily at 5am. Parking is an extra cost of 5 pounds a day (not clear on the website), and a little walk from the cottage. Managable but be aware before booking as it will add to the overall cost. Didn't spend much time in the town - local walks were overgrown and not suitable with our 3 year old, and unfortunately there are a lot of dogs in the area but no green spaces and little cleaning up done so the smell could be overwhelming. Overall I would recommend the beautiful cottage, but be aware of the surrounding areas....

Beautiful cottage hidden away off the Main Street. The cottage was tastefully furnished, with well equipped kitchen, everything you would need for self catering, even a lemon squeezer and super sharp knives. Lovely soft towels and good quality bedding. We arrived on a particularly wet cold day for July, and the cottage was quite chilly, we tried to advance the heating to no avail, we contacted Classic Cottages who gave us the housekeepers number, but unfortunately the number we were given was not correct. The following day however, the housekeeper and her husband came to look at the problem but again unfortunately neither of us could advance the heating. The housekeeper contacted the owners who then arranged for a local plumber to come to look at the problem. He ordered a new programmable thermostat and the problem was sorted out albeit after 5 days. St Agnes is a quaint village on the coast with all you need close by including butchers, bakers (most tasty ever sour dough bread and pastries) farm shop, deli, pubs and local caught fish shop, J Earl, just a mile away towards Chapel Porth beach (fresh crab was superb in Nigella Lawson linguine recipe). Parking is not easy but is workable with council car park at top of the village. St Agnes Head just out of the village has spectacular views. Places to visit near by include, Perranporth, Mylor bridge with great marina, and Holywell Bay beach, also only one hour away to Padstow, Carbis Bay and St Ives. For us St Agnes is one of Cornwalls best kept secrets, so let’s keep it that way, would definitely want to return. A true Cornish gem....

It sounds like you had an absolutely wonderful time here and we're so glad that the heating was sorted out for you, what an inopportune time for the thermostat to fail. It's not something that you thought you would need in July is it! Thank you for all of the lovely tips for future guests, they'll have great ideas of places to eat and visit. We really do hope you visit again! Donna, Customer Support...
