Great property and location on the square. Everything you need including car parking.

Mr Leavers June 2024

A thoroughly enjoyable holiday in a delightful Cotswold property in the charming town of Stow on the Wold. The modernised cottage has been really well planned to provide ideal accommodation, and it has all the facilities and equipment needed for a great holiday. The welcoming milk, flowers and cake were much appreciated....

Evenlode is a really clean and cosy cottage, it had everything you need for a perfect stay, the off road parking is a real bonus as you are in the centre of Stowe on the Wold. We would be happy to return.

Mr Bradley August 2024

This cottage is in a fantastic location - 30 yards to the Queens Head and only 100 yards from the town centre. The designated and clearly marked car park space is a real bonus. We did find the accommodation tight in all respects and prefer this word to cosy. The kitchen was well equipped but does need more than one wine glass and could do with some more serving dishes. Personally, I found the first floor shower very, very, challenging. The bedroom was tight with not enough space for clothes nor indeed anywhere to store our suitcases. Three televisions were a bonus but they didn't seem to pick up the channels they should. I liked the snug. The Guest manual was informative and good. There are a plethora of pubs and restaurants to eat in. We enjoyed a drink at the Queens Head but our favourite was The Bell - good food and drink and a lovely ambience. A large Tesco is 0.3 miles away. If you like gardens, we can thoroughly recommend Sezincote, Bourton, Kiftsgate, Hidcote and Batsford....

Mrs Atkin April 2024

The location is excellent for discovering stow and other Cotswold villages. Very clean and nice welcome flowers and cake on arrival. Downside is small uncomfortable lounge and fire doors in kitchen and lounge that close heavily and quickly behind you, hence in our opinion not dog friendly. We went home with bad backs and anxious dog. ...

We are so happy to see that you loved the location, and we are glad that the welcome flowers and cake were well received. We're very sorry if the fire doors were a bit of a concern for you, these types of doors are ultimately there for guests safety and are a requirement in this building specifically to meet fire regulations. Should you book with us again then we would happily assist you in finding the right property for you and your furry friend. Joel, Customer Support ...
