We had a lovely peaceful & relaxing time at River Safari, grandchildren loved playing in the stream, unfortunately we went the wrong way towards the Wye, so didn’t get to swim

We loved our stay at the safari tent. There were a few niggles such as a temperamental shower so we couldn't shower the children, lots of sheep poo by the tent where the kids were playing and the floor could have been a bit cleaner, however, in general it is a lovely place to go. Secluded and private but so close to great places to visit and the private Riverside area with table and chairs was just perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and if the niggles are sorted we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. You have to drive through a few bumpy fields to get to it which means it is in a lovely location but bear in mind you need a car that is up to it. Thanks for lovely stay. ...

Really gorgeous safari tent getaway in the middle of fields and orchards. We loved toasting marshmallows on the outdoor fire pit, walking through the orchards to the river and along the footpaths, and getting cosy in the evening with the woodburner on. The dog and children were able to be free range with just some sheep as our neighbours! ...
