If you are looking for a place to completely switch off and immerse yourself in a peaceful and beautiful pocket of nature - Wren’s nest is a great choice! A really precious place with some very chirpy neighbours and a great base for exploring some of the lakes. The hot tub on its little island is magical, the perfect ending to a day of walking for those achy fell legs and the cabin has all you need for a comfortable, distraction free stay. Lovely cabin, great location and the hot tub on the island is perfect. It had everything you needed for a getaway and slept like a log. Highly recomend and would come back again.

Perfect place for a few days peace and no wifi meant no phone beeping every 2 seconds which was great. Lovely setting on the edge of a marsh, and the decking is an absolute suntrap all day. Perfect place to unplug and unwind from city life.
