We have been on an extended working holiday for several months now in a few countries and there have been a lot of sub-par, wildy dissappointing Airbnbs that advertise they are for long term stays but don't even have the basic furnishings you would expect for that purpose - or they technically do but it's broken, or cheap, or ancient. So to come to Denise and Richard's exquisitely outfitted, decorated, and maintained cottage on their idylic property has been beyond anything we were expecting. It finally feels like a home - but with all these wonderful five-star hotel level perks: Fresh baked cookies, travel books, robes, adorable toiletry kits, toilet paper with folded ends. Denise and Richard were so welcoming, communicative, and helpful. The property is secluded but in short driving distance from a number of great restaurants, supermarkets, and the town. You'd need a vehicle, but that's expected. We will definitely return and are so happy to have found this gem! ...

Had a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage. Denise and Ritchie were excellent hosts. The cottage was a home from home with everything you could possibly need for a week away. Ideal location for exploring Ashdown Forest, both East and West Sussex and the coast. Would definitely stay again....
