Great Eckworthy - The Cottage

Anna and Chris were very welcoming and the cottage was spotlessly clean. It was just a fantastic holiday.

Such a delightful cottage perfect for a couple’s getaway. Anna and Chris have done a fantastic job in creating a lovely warm and cosy space with quality furnishings, kitchen equipment and toiletries. It was a chilly July afternoon when we arrived and the wood burner had been thoughtfully lit for us. The hot tub is a treat at the end of the day. The decking area is a relaxing area for a morning coffee while admiring the stunning hanging baskets and pots prepared by Anna. Lots of information provided for the local area and things to do. (Cycle on the Tarka Trail recommended). They are very keen to make your stay as enjoyable as possible and always available to help but not intrusively so. Recommended if you want a peaceful stay in lovely surroundings....

Lovely location, cottage superb, hosts very friendly. Great stay.

The most amazing little cottage. What a great find, you've really thought of everything. We had wall to wall sunshine so it was heavenly. Sandymouth beach is stunning. We spent the whole day there and walked to Bude. 5* xx

Wow! 5* We would highly recommend a stay at this property. We loved: The warm welcome from the hosts The thoughtful hamper with high quality extras, many locally sourced. The accommodation with a pre-lite fire on arrival for that truly warm welcome. The Cottage was spotlessly clean and had all that we needed for a cosy stay over the Christmas period, including wonderful Christmas decorations. The birds and the views are beautiful. The hot tub was such a treat. Fabulous hosts, friendly, helpful and so kind. ?? What's not to like? The only downfall was, we had to leave?...
