I was really concerned that the wonderful photographs of the lodge on the website would not live up to it in reality, but it absolutely did! We stayed in Greenway lodge, the bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing!! The location was idyllic, peaceful, tranquil with amazing views. Every evening we got to watch the sunset from the comfort of the lodge. Lovely big garden too for dog/s or children. There are lots of lovely walks in the area and Agatha Christie’s house is also within a good walking distance. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway this will tick all the boxes. Will definitely be coming back. ...

After a stressful start due to concerns about the water situation in the area & long drive after work, we arrived to the most beautiful sunset at Greenway and instantly felt relaxed & reassured we had made the right decision coming. It was impeccibly clean, stylishly furnished with high quality facilities & equipment- everything needed in the kitchen to cook including an induction hob which was a bonus! Bed was super comfy, lovely bathrooms with huge rainfall showers & a huge deep copper bath to relax in with a glass of wine. And those views....wow....you could just while away the days staring ( bring some binoculars!!) . I loved having morning lie-ins with a cup of tea, opening the patio doors & looking out at the river, listening to the birds. The location was so peaceful & quiet- you honestly wouldnt know that anyone else was close by due to the way the lodge is situated so I wouldnt be put off by having the touring park close by. The site was clearly lovingly maintained and Debs and her husband were friendly and helpful, always on hand if we needed anything. The location is fabulous- there are walks from the door, national trust houses close by, we made use of the local ferries to do walks visit Dartmouth, recommend the River Dart trail. We got the bus to Torcross & walked back to Dartmouth on the coast path. Had lovely fish & chips in Rockfish & our first visit to Totnes which we enjoyed! All is all it was a fabulous week & a priviledge to stay at Greenway, congrats to the owners for what they have achieved with the lodges & thank you for creating a truly memorable holiday....

Greenway Hideaway is probably the best place we have stayed with Classic Cottages. Clean, lovely comfy beds and furnished to a high standard. Great to look out on the Dart Estuary at all the birds and wildlife. Fabulous location and close to several attractions....

The location was stunning, the view over the creek was excellent and the fields and hills surrounding. The "cottage" was well equipped, beds very comfortable, great showers and comfortable easy chairs. The security of the site was good, and everything well managed, although we didn't seem able to ever find reception open.We had not been to the area previously, to stay, there is plenty to see and do. We loved Brixham, where we walked to the end of the breakwater (Marina Car Park was very convenient), National Trust properties very close, and Slapton Sands is well worth a visit if you like history. We used the "local" pub, The Manor Inn, a couple of times - food and service was good. What could be improved? A mirror in the second bedroom and instructions how to use the oven!!...
