We had a lovely stay at Little Cottage, a great base to explore the Roseland Peninsula. Cottage was clean and well equipped, with a beautiful view from the front patio.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage it was charming and spotless. The location was lovely with plenty of pubs and restaurants. The boat services were easy and efficient from the harbour , allowing days out to Falmouth and other locations.

We had a lovely holiday at Little Cottage. The view of the village & harbour below, from the front garden, is beautiful. There is a range of outdoor seating to use, some of which can be found in the rear garden shed. The view from the front bedroom is lovely to wake up to. The stairs & the step down from the front bedroom to the stairs looked a bit daunting at first, but in a couple of days, we'd mastered the manoeuvre. The bedding & towels are a great quality, and the cottage is overall clean, well furnished, and equipped. It's only about 3-4 mins walk from the cottage to the harbour, but the walk back up is steep, good cardio exercise! St Mawes had everything we needed. I would recommend the Rising Sun for Sunday lunch and the Tresanton Hotel for a special meal. The foot ferries are great to Falmouth and other sights/walks. Also suggest taking the King Harry Ferry for a much quicker trip to Truro. I'd definitely want to return to Little Cottage, loved it! ...

Little Cottage is a delight! Stunning views out across the harbour and so homely and comfortable. It well stocked in the kitchen so eating in was easy and enjoyable. St Mawes was like a little paradise with a good range of shops and eateries, a small foot passenger ferry that takes you across to Falmouth, a fabulous historical Castle and a beautiful local gardens that was so peaceful and calming to visit. We visited at Easter and it was pretty easy to get around even though the roads are very narrow and winding....oh and steep! I am told that it's quite a different place in the summer months! Classic Cottages remain our "go to" holiday provider, they have a great website, easy booking service and still maintain a personal element to their business which quite sets them apart from anyone else out there. Even though we had a few issues with a neighbouring property Classic Cottages communicated well with us and resolved the matter in a kind and caring and very friendly and polite way....
