Excellent location for a relaxing holiday - with the coast, harbourside village, places to eat and plenty of walking on the doorstep you can take a break from driving to places everyday. The seaviews from Our Cottage are also a real bonus, as long as other drivers are considerate and don't park outside the windows for long periods of time - thankyou to Classic Cottage team and housekeeper for responding quickly when we had an issue with this. The back terrace garden is very quiet and peaceful and a great place to enjoy listening to the birdsong and enjoy visits from a very tame blackbird and robin....

This is a cute cottage in a wonderful location. However, it is relatively rustic (including very rudimentary outdoor shower and toilet) and while it theoretically sleeps 8 (there are 8 beds) we found it too small and lacking in sufficient kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities for a family of 6. "Our Cottage" at St Makes was just perfect. Out of the front door and into the sea. The property had everything provided that we could possibly need. Beds super comfortable, good nights sleep guaranteed, window open slightly just listening to the waves, bliss....
