Mrs Hughes August 2024

Unfortunately the photographs on the website of the outside spaces are not reflective of what is actually available at Turnstone The main bedroom balcony is pictured as having 2 recliner chairs, there was a bench only ,no cushions The first floor balcony was pictured with a bistro set for alfresco dining again there was a bench no cushions The area with the hot tub, the table top the glass was missing and had not been replaced the wood was rough ,neither hygienic or safe( splinters from the rough wood) no cushions The barbecue was covered in rust and not fit for use All really disappointing I have already fed back to classic cottages ...

We were so sorry to hear of this. Sadly, we had not been made aware of the changes the owner had made to the outdoor furniture as a result of them succumbing to the elements. Whilst items within a property can change as and when they get replaced/upgraded, and may look slightly different to the photos, they should have the same function. We were so sorry to hear that in this case they did not, and that we had not been notified so that guests could have been pre-warned and new photos obtained. Now we are aware of the discrepancy in the outdoor furnishings provided, we have already removed some photos. Due to the lack of any photos to illustrate the sea views if we removed all external photos, we have added notes to the captions under them to highlight that the remaining photos are not reflective of what outdoor furniture is currently available. Once we are supplied with new photos, we will get these replaced on the website as quickly as possible. Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention so that we could look into this with the property owner. Classic Customer Support...

Lovely setting , large accommodation plenty of space for 6 people.

Ms Smith September 2022

This was our first visit to this part of Cornwall and both the property and location exceeded our expectations. The views are stunning with the beach a stone's throw away. If you enjoy walking, golf and sea views then this is the place for you. The villages of Cawsand and Kingsand are also "must see" places to visit along with Mount Edgcumbe House. I would recommend bringing some groceries with you for the first couple of days and also book restaurants to avoid disappointment. We will definitely love to stay in Portwrinkle again and explore the areas we did not have time to see. ...
