Pooks Hill Cottage is such a pretty cottage. There is off street parking with an electric car charging facility. On street parking is available for a second vehicle close to the property.

Shaldon is a lovely Devonshire village on the Teign estuary and is under three miles away.

Brixham is also home to the Blue Flag Breakwater beach.
The naval town of Dartmouth is simply stunning whatever the time of year.

My wife and I stayed at Pook's Hill Cottage for five days at the end of October. The weather was not particularly welcoming, but we were cosy and comfortable here. Unfortunately we did not have much of chance to see the countryside. However we did get to the Castle Inn in the village for dinner a couple of times: on the Thursday evening it was full and the food was excellent. On the following Monday it was a disappointment. Pooks hill cottage is absolutely fantastic for couples. It is definitely one of the nicest cottages we have ever stayed in. Absolutely spotlessly clean with everything you could need during your stay. It is a beautiful cottage inside and out. My only negative point is that at the time of year that we went, it was quite cold and it is hard to get it warm inside. The heater didn't give out much heat. Will definitely go here again but maybe in the warmer months. A beautiful cottage, well equipped, spotlessly clean and in a beautiful little village. A perfect base to explore the surrounding towns and villages of south Devon. ...
