The Byre is a delightful place to spend a quiet, rural and cosy few days. Great base to visit the surrounding area. Full of charming character. The bedding and bathroom are excellent. Would certainly recommend.

We had a lovely week in this cosy cottage. The cottage was warm in the cold March weather and so comfy. The location is fabulous and we spent a few days in nearby Battle which is a lovely town full of great shops and eating places.

This was a super base for visiting National Trust properties in the area. A fabulous bookshop in Battle is also worth a visit. There are also lovely walks from the cottage. I have had a lovely week being inspired by wonderful gardens and the art of the Bloomsbury Group. ...
