Beautiful cottage with fabulous decor and soft furnishings. Very comfortable ‘home from home’ in delightful village with lots of local amenities. The pretty garden was a bonus (even in late March) so would be very welcome during the summer months. We enjoyed lovely meals at Brassica and the Ollerod and also bought some good quality meat from the local butcher. Wonderful walks direct from cottage as well as visits to Lyme Regis, West Bay and local National Trust properties. We, too, enjoyed the Church Bells and certainly didn’t find them intrusive. Beaminster is a very friendly village too....

We had an amazing weekend away at Fox Cottage. The cottage is presented to the highest standards of quality and cleanliness. All of the furnishings are comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a self-catering stay. The wood burning stove was also very welcomed for January evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fox Cottage, which exceeded our expectations and even the weather was very good considering it was February!! The welcome basket was full of delicious treats that we enjoyed. It was perfectly situated a stone’s throw from the centre of town but was down a lovely quiet lane. We found the people of Beaminster to be very friendly and we enjoyed listening to the church bells, no clock needed as they did a perfect job of letting all know the time!!
