Nice place with a superb vista. Good local amenities for a small village. Unfortunately we will not be returning as the price is too much even during what used to be “out of season”. Also disappointed with a pint of milk and seven biscuits representing a Welcome Pack !!!...

We're delighted you liked this beautiful cottage and the location. The views of the estuary are indeed superb. Welcome packs are individual but in general (as with this cottage) provide a supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk along with biscuits/cake and flowers on arrival, as well as an initial supply of cleaning products to get you going. This property is perfect in all angles: it’s only a 2 minute walk to the nearest beach, in the heart of beautiful Shaldon, lovely welcoming neighbours, everything you need in the kitchen for a Christmas feast, well equipped laundry room with back access for muddy shoes and wet over trousers, clean and contemporary inside design and decoration, clean and modern bathrooms, stunning views in all weathers and last but not least very comfortable beds! I HIGHLY recommend! We were there for a week with two young children and grandparents and we felt at home and with enough sense of privacy....
