We were delighted to be the first guests at Foxglove Cottage, it was a charming place to stay, extremely tranquil with plenty of outdoor space. Steve and Hazel were very welcoming and amenable and could not have been more helpful hosts. The cottage itself is bijou but very well-equipped, especially the kitchen for self-catering or long breakfasts. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and the surroundings are so quiet that you are guaranteed a good night’s sleep! The garden is a lovely spot for contemplation and reflection or a gin and tonic... Failing that, The Exeter Inn is a terrific pub, with a great range of beers and the food is well-executed. The locals are very friendly with suggestions of where to visit and what to see. Chittlehamholt is a great spot for day trips to the coast, Exmoor and even for Cornwall. Enjoy!...
