This is one of the best cottages I have stayed in. Great modern facilities, including a lovely relaxing bath after a days walking and a large shower. Kitchen well appointed. Views fantastic and right on the edge of Dartmoor so I could literally walk straight on to the Moor from the cottage. But only 5 mins drive from South Brent with good shops for food etc. Lovely hosts. Just a great place to get away from it all. Second time staying here. Wont be the last...

We loved this cottage, very comfortable, well equipped, friendly and helpful hosts. It’s a great location for exploring South Hams and Dartmoor, you can walk for the cottage onto the Two Moors Way. You do have to drive down a single track road to get to it but that’s what you get if you want a farm cottage in Devon, there are passing places and the locals are very good at reversing. We will probably go back next year and would definitely recommend it....

Swallow Cottage is spotlessly clean with stunning views of Dartmoor.The property itself is beautifully furnished and maintained. Penny and Nick are very good hosts.If it is a relaxing rural retreat you want this place fits the bill!

Swallow Cottage is a lovely cosy and warm cottage, with an interesting layout, and luxurious and comfortable bed. Nick and Penny were lovely hosts, they made us feel very welcome and helped with information about the area. The location is quiet and relaxing, with walks on the doorstep, but within easy reach of the local village South Brent which had all the amenities we needed. Highly recommend it....
