We stayed in Foxy Loxy in March this year and squirrel Nutkin at Christmas. The owners go that extra mile to make sure you are happy with everything and nothing is ever too much trouble if there’s ever a problem, Communication was extremely quick we needed a torch and Jo came over and sorted it promptly….The attention to detail is remarkable and we had a lovely welcome gift too…..Jo is efficient ,friendly and helpful. Hot tub is bliss and Jo keeps it extremely clean and well maintained. Lanhydrock house and garden is close by and well worth a visit and does lovely coffee and cake…also there are lovely woodland and riverside walks. Fowey is a beautiful place to visit and we had lunch in The Galleon which was excellent…. The location is good for exploring north cornwall…..and walking the coastal paths. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place to stay as your base. ...

Squirrel Nutkin at Roe Wood is an amazing property in a fabulous setting. The stunning views across the fields to the sea are amazing. The owners have thought of everything, the property is well equipped and spotlessly clean. Jo the owner sent a welcoming text message to us, so we had a contact number if we had any problems. There was a lovely welcome pack in the fridge. The information pack was well laid out with lots of information on the surrounding area and instructions on how to use the hot tub. Its the perfect bolt hole to explore Cornwall. Already booked for 2023 ...

We have just returned from a lovely 4 night stay at Squirrel Nutkin and wished it could have been for longer. This property is a pure delight set in woodland with the bonus of a hot tub on the decking which we used every day! Luckily we had fantastic weather last week, not too hot but lovely warm & sunny days. There was everything we needed. It was spotless and the owners have thought of everything right down to "the porter", the pink wheelbarrow??to transport our luggage and food boxes from the car. Met Jo as we were leaving and she was so warm & friendly. We would definitely like to return. Sue & Dave (Southampton)...
