We have stayed in both lodges multiple times, they are always spotlessly clean with everything you could need and more. It is so quiet and relaxing and perfect for listening to the owls while sitting in the hot tub with a glass of fizz. The welly boots are a great addition for a wander through the woods. There are lots of lovely towns to walk around, just be aware not all shops open during the winter months. If you enjoy fish and chips try Bens in Mevagissy, they are wonderful and the staff are great. You can eat in or take away. There are lots of coastal walks around the area and beautiful beaches. The perfect place to escape....

This property exceeded expectations, inside the cabin was a handy booklet with details of things to do in the area and other helpful information also a shed next to the car park which had all amenities and equipment we could possibly need, the owners really thought about everything! The hot tub was heated on arrival which was lovely, would 100% recommend....

Our stay at Squirrel Nutkin couldn’t have been any better. The location is serene, so peaceful and quiet with stunning views. It was beautiful sitting in the hot tub looking out at the scenery. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. Everything is clearly very well looked after, including us as guests - Jo and Brian couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome and to have looked after us during our stay. They are fantastic hosts with a phenomenal spot at Roe Wood. The lodge is also a great location to explore northern Cornwall, we went somewhere spectacular on each day of our 6 day trip, so it’s ideal whether you want to explore or just stay in, relax and take in the surroundings.
