We have stayed at Roe Wood 4 times now. It is the perfect place if you want peace and quiet and time to just chill and relax. There are lovely walks around the woods or plenty of beaches and towns to explore a short drive away. In the evening you can hear the owls and we saw a bat this time too. Stargazing and spotting shooting stars from the hot tub is always fun. Everything is spotless and always plenty of wood for the fire. If there are any small problems Jo the owner is always very helpful. We're already looking to come back in the new year....

Squirrel Nutkin at Roe Wood is a beautiful place to relax. This is our second time staying here and we have just booked for next year. The setting is so peaceful and the owners have thought of everything to ensure your comfort. The owners are so welcoming and friendly and on hand if you have any problems. The decor is beautiful and it is spotlessly clean. The hot tub is checked everyday. The property is not far from beautiful Fowey and the historic quay of Charlestown...

Great for a relaxing break in a remote surrounding. The cabin was to a high standard. It was perfect for a four night break away. The walk to the pub through the woods in the dark with a torch was fun - walking boots are a must! The hot tub after the walk back from the pub was perfect!...

Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing and idealic. Great views, excellently equipped lodge, fantastic hot tub and outdoor area. Helpful hosts and good value for money. There are only two lodges on this site so if you just want a quiet relaxing getaway and enjoy the surrounding area this place is for you. Would 100% recommend and will be back. ...

A very clean and lovely cabin in a beautiful setting. So peaceful and had all equipment you would need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend Squirrel Nutkin to anyone wanting a special place to stay.
