LOVED the property. Plenty of room for 7 people. Location and surroundings beautiful. The following are NOT complaints but something that the owners/guests might want to be aware of: close proximity to cows meant lots of flies and therefore fly poo everywhere which meant constant cleaning to get rid of it. Fly screens would be a good idea. Also lack of WiFi and phone signal, while lovely for me, meant no work could be done by others at the property itself and this wasn’t made particularly clear at the point of booking. Thank you. ...

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review for The Bolthole and we so pleased that you loved the property as much as we do! Unfortunately flies can be an everyday occurance in some of our more rural locations but we'll certainly pass on your suggestion of fly screens to the owner for their consideration. WiFi and phone signal can also be a little tricky in a rural spot but we have some useful information regarding technology on our website and our Sales team are always on hand if you need any questions answered to help find that perfect holiday base. Fabulous lodge with beautiful sea views. All on one floor. In a beautiful unspoilt corner of Cornwall. Lovely peaceful old-style site with a good indoor pool.

Very comfortable and well designed place. Kitchen very well equiped.Great views. Tasteful furnishing. Good selection of board games. There were 7 of us total with 4 kids. Two families can enjoy time together as well as their privacy. Swimming pool is a good add however being lucky with the weather for great walks along the coast we only visited twice. Overall very happy with our holiday choice. ...

You definitely can't beat a good board game on holiday! We're so glad you enjoyed the walks as well - did you find lovely Towan Beach? You may have been too early in the year to see the cute little tea van Earl there, but if you return in the spring, he's well worth a visit! Tanya, Customer Support...

We would recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone who wants to explore this part of Cornwall and get away from it all. Everything you could wish for is provided and the views are brilliant.

Good or bad, we publish all the reviews left by the guests who have stayed in this cottage, with the few exceptions stated in our Review Guidelines.
