My family and dog stayed at Old Forge for a very wet week at the end of November. Absolutely loved the cottage, a very cosy retreat with two long burners. The location was perfect with Plymouth and Dartmoor both easy to drive to. Nice dog walks along the river into the village, owners were really friendly and welcoming. Really did not want to leave!...

Lovely and peaceful location. Next to a river with outdoor seating to appreciate the surroundings with a glass of wine or cup of tea. Walking distance to the village pub and shops. Central location for exploring Dartmoor and Devon’s coastline. Owners were lovely and had a homemade delicious cake waiting for us on arrival....
