This is a pleasant, bright compact property for a couple. Great to have 2 pubs within walking distance that both serve good food and drink. Easy parking on the roadside next to the property. Convenient for the Exe Valley Trail. The only negative for us was the noise from passing trains hooting between 0600 and midnight. This wouldn't bother everyone but it is a very busy railway line. The friendly property owners live next door and access their home via the 'side gate' to the property....

Generally the house is very nice but be aware the main road is directly in front and the main railway line is very noisy.

Apple House was perfect. Good quality furniture and linen. We loved what was a little paradise by the water watching the boats and swans. Would definitely book again!
