What a beautiful cottage that was just the perfect size for the 2 of us, that had all the amenities we required & in a great location! We loved eating breakfast & looking over the harbour in the mornings. We would have loved to have eaten dinner outside but the weather wouldn't let us. So glad we were there for the weekend of the classic auto show as alot of the cars/bikes drove past & the steam engines parked outside the pub next door & we had a great view from the cottages outside area. The cottage was also situated within a good walking distance to the train station & harbour for crossing to Exmouth in Starcross & going the other way to Dawlish Warren beach. Staggering distance to the Anchor Inn pub, litterally yards away & the Ships Inn, approx 2 mins away. All the locals were very friendly & welcoming. ...

This is a comfortable, well equipped and well furnished holiday cottage, with excellent views of the harbour. The two village pubs are very close and well worth a visit. The strain station and water Taxi to Exmouth are both an easy walk way in Starcross....
