Stable Cottage has French doors that lead out onto a wonderful and really large, lawned garden. The feature pond attracts some amazing birds - do take care with small children though.

The east Devon Jurassic coast and gorgeous Lyme Regis is a really easy drive from Stable Cottage. There are many beaches for great family days out.

The kitchen/dining-room is an excellent size for a cottage that accommodates four guests.
Guests have sole use of the summer-house. It faces south to make the most of the sunshine and views across the fabulous garden and the little pond; please take care if you have small children with you.

The driveway up to Ford Farm often has grazing sheep either side of the little lane.
There are many lovely fishing villages and seaside towns along the east Devon Jurassic Coast. So much to explore and fabulous coastal path walks.
Walking along the east Devon Jurassic Coast offers one stunning view after another.
The Regency town of Sidmouth is well worth a visit. There is a wonderful long promenade, and the cliff top cafe and gardens in the picture are a treat at the end of your stroll.

Budleigh Salterton is a truly unspoilt little seaside town. This boat says it all.

We were honoured to have been the first ever guests at Stable Cottage. Sarah and Martin were very caring hosts, and their dog, Ginny, a joyously friendly addition. The cottage is located in within a farm environment surrounded by beautiful countryside, and backed by a spacious and well tended garden in which spent happy hours. The facilities within the cottage were excellent and we all particularly enjoyed the very large kitchen/dining room with its sunlit location. My 'young' 95 year old mother was with us and she had no problems with access. Farmshops abound in the area and nearby Honiton has a lively high street with many small shops providing all one might need. We are already recommending Stable Cottage to friends and family for a luxuriously comfortable stay in this very serene and guest friendly environment.
