The summer-house faces south and looks over the garden - a real sun trap and perfect spot for a barbecue.
The east Devon Jurassic coast and gorgeous Lyme Regis is a really easy drive from Stable Cottage. There are many beaches for great family days out.
There is a large separate utility-room with a further cloakroom.
The kitchen/dining-room is an excellent size for a cottage that accommodates four guests.
Guests have sole use of the summer-house. It faces south to make the most of the sunshine and views across the fabulous garden and the little pond; please take care if you have small children with you.
There is an Aga for you to enjoy too!

The driveway up to Ford Farm often has grazing sheep either side of the little lane.
There are many lovely fishing villages and seaside towns along the east Devon Jurassic Coast. So much to explore and fabulous coastal path walks.
Walking along the east Devon Jurassic Coast offers one stunning view after another.
The Regency town of Sidmouth is well worth a visit. There is a wonderful long promenade, and the cliff top cafe and gardens in the picture are a treat at the end of your stroll.

Budleigh Salterton is a truly unspoilt little seaside town. This boat says it all.

Carol and Brian, We have just spent a lovely week in this spacious well equipped cottage. The garden is well maintained and has extensive rural views. It is very relaxing to sit in as is the large summer house. We visited Burrow Farm Gardens,Beer, Honiton, Branscombe,The Donkey Sanctary and went on the tram from Colyton to Seaton and then back to Colyton. Thank you Martin and Sarah for making us feel so welcome and for the "treats" on our arrival. We have already booked for next year!...

We had a most enjoyable long weekend in Devon staying in this excellent cottage. It is spacious and extremely well equipped, with excellent facilities that we made good use of. The owners were very welcoming and the eggs from the hens in the garden were delicious. Highly recommended....

Photos do not do this lovely cottage justice. It is surrounded by the most beautiful gardens, with a lovely view. It is seconds from the A35, so very easy to find, with no traffic noise. The owners and their gorgeous dog, Ginnie, were very welcoming. We have been to more than 30 Classic cottages and this has to be best equipped we have seen. We wanted for nothing. Even the weather was good! We thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxing break....

This cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished. We visited in early October and it was surprisingly warm despite the high ceilings in most rooms. Bathrooms and kitchen were very well fitted out. A lovely big summerhouse in the garden, with hens nearby. The owners live in the adjacent cottage and were very friendly and helpful. It's a good location, easy to get to both Honiton and Lyme Regis. Highly recommended!...
