Even though property is in a village, the ease of access to anywhere on the island is excellent. The hosts were gracious, professional and very helpful. The property is beautifully presented and very clean with great attention to detail with practical items provided eg washing tablets. We didn't need to purchase anything except food. The area around the village is teaming with fantastic walks and stunning views. Highly recommend. ...

The cottages were tired and in desperate need of updating. Photos online look to be 10 years old. The mattresses particularly in orchard & dairy were AWFUL!! So much so that some of our party went home early through lack of sleep. We had to swap mattresses from cottage to cottage to ensure SOME sleep. Blinds broken, doors not opening. Not very clean. This is overpriced for what we received. We would not stay here again ...

We had a nice stay here. The weather was fab! The grounds and barn could probably do with an overhaul to spruce it up. Well used and getting tired. Guy who owned it was friendly too. Easy to get to other parts of IOW.

Blake’s Barn is in a quiet location, surrounded by beautiful countryside. There are few farm animals, pigs geese and hens. The kitchen area was a bit small. The master bedroom is on a mezzanine level, so quite hot in summer, as heat rose up from the kitchen area. The owners were friendly, and Mike gave some helpful suggestions for places to visit. ...
