The living-area has a wood-burning stove and the owners provide you with all the logs you will need for your entire stay.
Bedroom one on the ground floor has a double bed and en suite shower-room.
The kitchen-area also has a huge island/breakfast-bar.
Some extra special touches added throughout the barn.
The island in the kitchen is perfect for those pre dinner drinks and nibbles.
The dining-area enjoys the best of the views - that is if you are not eating outside in the fresh air.
The living-area is perfect for relaxing in after a day out and about exploring.
The flagstone flooring and little hallway make this a really practical place to stay with a dog.
Bedroom one is on the ground floor with a double bed, TV and en suite shower-room.

Bedroom two has a king-size bed and views out over the fields and a glimpse of the oldest part of the farmstead at the side.

Great Ash Barn is dog-friendly and surrounded by plenty of walks to keep everyone happy.

You will often see the farm's cows in the field next to the cottage - they are sure to come up and see you too!
Grassy lanes and footpaths lead from the farm into the tranquil countryside. (This is not the track to the farm!)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Great Ash Barn. It is in a very peaceful and tranquil location with wonderful views. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We were house hunting during our stay and the barn was a real oasis at the end of the day and the garden was a lovely place to relax. The doggie shower was a great extra and kept our cocker spaniel nice & clean after long walks in the surrounding countryside. Steph made us feel very welcome and was on hand if we needed anything. We would definitely recommend this cottage. ...

Excellent accommodation, could not fault it. Everything has been provided for, comfy beds and sofas. Fully enclosed garden for dogs and dog shower in boot room, very nice addition, our Labrador loved it. Location very remote but that’s what we like. Owners very friendly and there if you need them. We had a brilliant week staying at Great Ash Barn, the barn was amazing and had everything you could need. The log burner was great for cosy nights. Steph and Steve were great hosts and we’re on hand if needed. The views from the barn were great. The secure garden was great for our dog who loved the walks through the surrounding fields....
