This cottage is in a magical setting with the sun filtering through the trees. The beach is a short walk away through the woods with plenty of shells and seaglass for the treasure hunter! It was a treat to drive around the island and be there so quickly we were able to squeeze in spontaneous visits to the Donkey Sanctuary and the Bembridge windmill. Best visit was the Model Village at Godshill - yes the models are amazing, but the planting is the best part, no surprise they give a discount to members of the RHS....

It was our second visit to this property and we loved it just as much as last year. It is spacious and the beds very comfortable. A beautiful new kitchen had been installed which is very well equipped. There is so much space around the property and it is very peaceful. The walk down to the private beach is lovely and it was warm enough to go in the sea this year. We saw red squirrels and a green woodpecker very close to the cottage on several occasions....
