Absolutely wonderful weekend at Lady Well Shepherds Hut. Myself and my son loved the experience. He loved feeding the kids and walking up the view point. I liked the lovely village with the pub a few minutes walk and lovely country walks around.

Absolutely perfect for a get away from it all, but still close enough if you want shopping etc. 3 miles.

AMAZING trip !!!!!! Exceptional service, people were absolutely brilliant. The place itself was beautiful and cosy with incredible views all around. Everything you could ever need in the hut as it is fully stocked, which makes everything so easy. They also have their own fresh meats - their sausages were delicious! Definitely worth the try! The jacuzzi… WOW. The jets on that thing were amazing. Best massages and so relaxing! Especially with the tranquil night. Overall, an amazing stay, we will definitely love to stay again. ...

What a little gem of a place. Breathtaking setting and so scenic. The garden is so beautiful, a pond, several little outside sitting places. The hut has all you need, home from home. Very clean and well decorated. Pub with excellent food about a 10 minute walk and a delicious Chinese if you really don’t fancy cooking. Inside and outside cooking available in hut as well. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend a visit. ...

We wanted a place where my wife & I could just chill out and relax - and Lady's Well Hut was perfect for this! We arrived slightly early, as we couldn't find anywhere to park in the village - it was 'school out' time, but it was no problem for Sharon, who whisked us and our luggage up to the hut using the golf buggy, showed us around and provided info on walks etc. Although the hot, dry spell had just come to an end, we did spend most of the days outside reading, watching the birdlife, occasionally walking up to the lookout (unfortunately, the seating was away for repair, or we would have spent more time up there). It was great sitting in the excellent hot tub in the rain, especially at night with laser lights shining on the trees, looking like stars! After having hearty full English breakfasts prepared in the hut, we ate in the evenings at The Old Inn, less than 10mins walk away. Food and staff there were great. All in all, it was perfect for what we needed - rest and recuperation after a tough few months, especially for my wife. We would certainly return if we needed a similar break again - maybe to try the yurt!...
