Second visit this year. Thoroughly enjoyed the perfect location and a brilliant visit to Widecombe Fair. Early mornings and late afternoons, when the crowds have gone, are especially great.

Ned's is a delightful little cottage for two and an ideal base for exploring the east side of Dartmoor. All the villagers we met in Widecombe were warm and friendly. Ned's is most suitable for those who, like us, love to hear the sound of sheep early in the morning - no need for an alarm clock with their regular arrival in the village each day!...

The Old Inn next door to Ned's is a good pub with good food and staff Excellent pasties and other food are available from the small outlet outside the cottage as well as the cafes in the village
