The property is small and perfectly formed. It suits us so well. The cottage is in the centre of Widecombe and is an excellent site for exploring Dartmoor.
Mrs Pascoe June 2017
Ned's was the perfect little bolthole for our weekend away. The location in the centre of popular Widecombe is perfect - two pubs and two lovely cafes within an easy walk (definitely try the Rugglestone Inn just down the hill) and views over the green. It's so peaceful in the evenings and early mornings, only a few ponies, cows or sheep passing through. The courtyard was a lovely little private suntrap - we were blessed with true 'flaming June' weather and it was idyllic sitting outside with a glass of something cold! There are many walks to enjoy from the village itself, and it's very easy to jump in the car to go a little further afield. We can't wait to return....

Mr Clewley March 2017
Ned's is an ideal 'away from it all' retreat. Small but cosy, well equipped and furnished to a high standard. It's location in the village is great for the two pubs and one can walk out straight on to the moors.
