This is a beautiful place in a superb location. The village of Portscatho is small but very pretty and this house is right on the water. We swam every day there. The outside area has great views of the sea. The house is very nicely decorated and comfortable to stay in, plus had all the added extras that might be needed. The welcome pack was very generous too. The sunroom is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. You can lie in bed in the upstairs bedroom and see/hear the sea. A dedicated parking spot is very useful too. We were lucky, the sun shone and we generally spent the day exploring Cornwall and were very happy to come back to such a lovely place in the evenings. ...

Stowaway was even better than anticipated, the photos don't do justice to the light and space. Everything you could want for a relaxed easy stay in a wonderful location. We really liked this accommodation which indeed, as others have commented, was better than the photos suggested and surpassed expectations in terms of comfort and location, especially proximity to the sea. It was plenty big enough for five adults: we didn't feel we were living on top of each other due to a choice of the sun lounge and the sitting room to relax in, as well as the outdoor area if the weather permitted. One thing to be aware of: the top bedroom has a low ceiling on one side of the bed which even a short person has to stoop for. The thing that let the place down slightly for us (hence 4 stars rather than 5) was the housekeeping; some things were not as clean as we would have wished for and some expected essentials (eg loo paper!) were provided at a minimum, but perhaps this was just a blip....

This is an ideal place to stay especially with children. The location couldn't be better, the property is tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable.
