The living-room has a choice of wonderfully comfortable reclining chairs, with a wood-burning stove for out-of-season evenings.
There is also a private sheltered area at the side of the Lodge. It is quite a suntrap. This area can be enclosed if you wish.

Cadhay House near Ottery St Mary, close to Honiton, is an incredible privately owned historic house and gardens that are open to the public on bank holiday weekends.
Budleigh Salterton is another lovely little coastal town on the Jurassic Coast.

Our 5th year at Mount Pleasant and as enjoyable as ever .Everything done to make your stay perfect in every way , comfort , warmth , very well equipped and garden and wildlife a bonus ! Owners Gill and Terry very helpful but never intrusive .

I would rather keep this wonderful place a secret and not say how stunning it is. There really is nothing to fault it. It's attached to the owner's property but don't let this put you off as Gill and Terry are so welcoming. I felt like I was staying with friends. If you're lucky you will arrive to homemade cake, bread and milk in the fridge plus dog treats. There are many dog friendly pubs, and places nearby, but I was content sitting in the huge garden.
