Our stay at Smugglers Cottage was perfect. It’s furnished to a very high standard and its location is very peaceful with plenty of walking available from the cottage. Its location is also perfect for exploring the Lizard and other parts of Cornwall . Very highly recommend....

An excellently appointed cottage with all we needed for a delightful week. Quiet surroundings and despite being on a working farm there were no disturbances or inconveniences. Fabulous local walks and plenty to do within sensible driving distances. We’d definitely stay again. ...

We have visited Smugglers five times in the past 10 years and every time we visit something has been updated - this time it was a new kitchen. The cottage was exceptionally clean, very well equipped and with fixtures and fittings to a high standard. If you love peace and quiet and country walks this cottage is perfect. I’m sure we will visit again in the near future....

Smugglers is cosy and welcoming and idyllically situated in a quiet uniquely beautiful area. Ideally placed for exploring the whole Mount's Bay and Lizard area, and not far from Falmouth and Truro either. In a remote rural paradise but handy for Helston too. The Loe and Penrose and the unique joys of the coast are within walking distance. The cottage has excellent facilities and the garden is private enough and lovely to sit in. It's a lovely little cottage with character characteristic of the area, being fashioned from old farm buildings like the rest of Higher Pentire. Classic Cottages are always extremely helpful, as is the housekeeper if you have any issues or queries....

A beautiful cottage in a wonderful part of the country, had everything you needed and more, even down to a wine stopper… and board games. It was absolutely spotlessly clean and the added touch of flowers and Cornish biscuits on the kitchen table and milk in the fridge when you arrived was so heart warming and welcoming, particularly after a long journey. Located in a great spot in Cornwall, it was easy access to all our favourite places. It was home from home. Would recommend and will definitely be going back....
