Great remote location. Beware no garden for children to play in, livestock are able to roam freely around the property and deposit as they wish.

Beautiful, peaceful and remote cottage, lovely place for getting away from it all. A bit off the beaten track but well worth it for the location, gorgeous views everywhere you look. The town is about 9mins drive away, nice pub and a couple of lovely takeaways. The kids loved all the farm animals around us, be aware that the sheep come into the garden early in the morning and leave their business in the grass. We had a brilliant stay and can’t wait to go back. ...

Absolutely lovely house in a gorgeous setting with amazing views. The sun room is a very nice place to sit.The only unforseen negative was that the sheep come right up to the house (fun for our toddler) but it means they do their business in the garden. Only really a problem with kids!...

The location of this property is breathtaking, with stunning scenery all around and only really the sheep for neighbours (whose antics were quite entertaining)! It's exactly as described, but I think inside exceeded our expectations in terms of the quality of everything, from the general decor to the bedsheets! It is a little interesting to navigate to, due to the "Cornish highways", but absolutely worth it for the location. The written instructions on how to reach the property were spot-on, so no problems there. We absolutely loved our stay at Poldue House and would highly recommend....

A great location away from the crowds. Fantastic views of Rough Tor. A car is essential for access through narrow lanes and unmade road to property.
