Wonderful barn conversion with well-equipped modern kitchen and spacious heritage-feel living areas. We particularly liked the round living room which had once been a mill where a donkey walked round threshing or grinding the grain. The rural setting was quiet and the neighbouring dairy farm added to the charm. It is a little difficult to find initially with windy narrow Cornish lanes surrounding it but that helps one slow down and relax and appreciate the break from otherwise busy lives. We’ll definitely be back. ...

Another wonderful stay! We have stayed a few times now and always a warm welcome and comfortable stay. The attention to detail is excellent, from the choice of furnishings and decor, to the cleanliness and little extras. Can't wait to come back!

We booked a week at Gilly Barn around our daughters graduation in Falmouth. The property is a twenty minute drive from Falmouth and ten minutes into Redruth and situated in a lovely, quiet countryside location although most shopping facilities and beaches were no more that 20 minutes away. Once off the main road the lanes do get narrow so bear that in mind if you have a large vehicle. There was parking adequate for two cars. The property was comfortable and well appointed. It has a large garden which was great for our dog to run around. The property is probably better suited to an adult family as some of the steps into the garden are steep and the garden isn't well equipped for children's play or outdoor socialising. It is however a large lawned garden perfect for a dog to run around. Contact from the owners was good and they were able to be flexible with the arrival time which was much appreciated....

Bit remote for some but we liked it, Though having said that the nearest village was only a couple of miles away where there was a pub and shop just seemed further because of the narrow lanes. The barn was very comfortable, with everything you need. The cows coming to be milked each day was lovely to watch. All in all a lovely place to stay, very much a home from home. You will not be disappointed if you stay there....

If you like the country and views this is the place to be. No passing traffic. The property is so well equipped and clean. We have no hesitation in recommending this to future guests.
