House description and photos excellent. Description of grounds understated - much bigger that expected with wonderful wood ( we hope it won't be tidied up too much) and lawns for just guests to enjoy. Wonderful!! A lovely, very spacious, historic old house, full of character with an accompanying woodland, pond and lawn areas that were a delight to walk around. Boundary trees ensured the adjacent A30 remained completely unobtrusive and it was excellent to have the easy parking and privacy afforded by the grounds. The large conservatory with rocking horse and grapevine immediately adjoins a good kitchen area and was a delight to use as our dining room. Having two sitting rooms and a drawing room was wonderful! Nancealverne is a unique holiday property full of history and charm. We felt like we were on the set of 'Downton Abbey'! Beautiful house and grounds. Very relaxing. Perfect location for exploring Cornwall.

We as a german family had a wonderful stay at Nancealverne House. The historic atmosphere and the beautiful gardens have let us felt like being in the movie pride and prejudice. Also the lovely beaches, hiking trails and the tasty food of Cornwall made our stay a superb holiday. We can recommend Nancealverne House for any family, who wants to enjoy a great holiday in Cornwall in a Rosamunde Pilcher like atmosphere. ...

We were impressed by the stories of the ancestors, the beautiful nature, good food and the friendliness of the Cornish people. We felt immediately at home in this house and it was the ideal place to explore West Cornwall. ...
