I booked Nancealverne house because I wanted somewhere which would be suitable for 3 generations. The details mentioned the house was baby friendly. Our party included a toddler & a crawling baby. I was impressed with all the equipment suppled, everything had been well thought out. Most of the living space is on one floor... the upper floor, which is entered through the conservatory to the left of the building. It seemed a little odd but worked very well. Some of the family portraits frightened my 2 year old granddaughter. It was fun to be lord & lady of the manor for a week! ...

Beautiful house, and beautiful location. The gardens are really lovely, with lawns, woods and walkways. Despite it's size, the house has a very homely feel, and the furniture and paintings have obviously been there for generations. Our party comprised seven adults and a teenager, and there was ample space for everyone. Very central location, close to many beautiful beaches and harbours, and only a fifteen minute walk to the centre of Penzance. We would definitely like to return!...
