We had a lovely stay at the Old Coach House. Jane and Richard are great hosts and the recommendation of the Duchess of Cornwall pub in Dorchester was just the place to go for my birthday meal. The building, service and food were all of a very high standard. The property is a great base for exploring Dorset and it is so quiet, the only sound the birds and occasional tractor. Hopefully soon Jane will be able to put back those little homely pieces that had to be removed due to covid restrictions, I do miss fresh flowers, welcome trays and looking through book collections for something different to read during our stay. But this did not detract from the cleanliness and homeliness of the coach house during our stay. Look forward to hopefully coming back in more normal times next year....
