Polkerris is a tiny harbour close to Fowey with a sandy beach as the tide drops back.
The Rashleigh Arms is right by the beach in pretty Polkerris.
Par Sands has plenty of parking right by the sand dunes.
Mevagissey is a quintessential fishing village just a few miles from Fowey.
Heligan Gardens are a short drive away and well worth a visit, especially in the spring.

Vougeot is a very comfortable, cosy cottage. It's very well equipped and is in a lovely peaceful location a short distance from the town centre. The small private courtyard is delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vougeot. The cottage is spotlessly clean and it has everything you could wish for. The owners also sent us a lovely card and left us some wine which was such a kind and welcome surprise. We wouldn't hesitate to book this property again....
