We had a lovely time at Trethevey Old Barn, it is perfectly situated for our family as we like the nearby beaches, the walks in the woods, places to visit, the whole area in fact, and close to the picturesque town of Fowey. Trethevey has been a firm family favourite for many years. We love the area, its walks and beaches, and there are just so many places close by to visit - it doesn't matter what time of year it is.

We really enjoyed the quiet location and the feeling of remoteness yet being very close to a wide range of walks and really interesting places to visit. The king-size bed is very comfy and the owner is really helpful. As others have commented the local lanes are narrow but passing is only potentially a problem for a couple of minutes on the "short" route to the main road, and it was easy to negotiate our way round the only vehicle we met all week....

We had a great stay with the family in Trethevey. Everything was great: the cottage was spacious and well equipped, the location was quiet, plenty of space on the lawn for playing boules and badminton. Many thanks to the house owners!

Had a lovely stay. Owner really lovely. Lanes to get to accommodation a little narrow and uneven so would be helpful if this was in the description. Didn't takeaway from a lovely stay. The Crown pub just down the road fab food.
