We had a fantastic week at Chapel Cottage - it was warm and cozy, perfect for a winter get away ! We were very lucky that the weather was so good we got to sit at the front and admire the view whilst drinking coffee and eating a cinnamon bun from the bakery on the front - would love to go back !...

Chapel Cottage is such a hidden gem. The owner has thought out painstakingly how to decorate it and make it attractive for visitors. The guest book even had an introduction from the owner which I thought was a very touching message (if you stay you’ll know what I mean). We fell in love with St Mawes and the cottage. I think it would be perfect as a honeymoon cottage or an adults only escape. We had two small children with us and the steep hill and size of the cottage was perhaps a bit much for them. ...

Excellent seaside cottage, beautifully decorated, tasteful and clean. Fabulous views and close to amenities and beach. Excellent area for walking, very hilly, so may not be suitable for people with mobility problems. Was difficult to find a green space to exercise the dog, other than the beach, but found a large green field suitable to let dog run free just up the hill from the cottage. Lovely relaxing place, bonus was a yacht race we could watch from the cottage. Good base for walking and sightseeing. ...

We had an absolutely wonderful honeymoon at chapel cottage. The cottage is so cosy & instantly felt like home. The view down to the harbour is gorgeous & sitting out on the front terrace with a glass of wine after dinner was just perfect. We bought our little dog with us & the house was great for him too. The location is perfect, although the steep hill up from town certainly helped keep us fit! But totally worth it for the view. We can’t wait to return again, it’s a real gem of a home - so pleased we found it. Also thank you for such lovely honeymoon treats! Flowers, bubbly & cute gifts -really thoughtful.
