The Cleveland Way is a 110 mile National Trail which runs from Helmsley to the Brigg in Filey, taking the dramatic North York Moors National Park and stunning North Yorkshire coastline along the way. Pick up the local section from Robin Hood's Bay, the route is clearly sign posted and beautiful throughout the year.

Situated close to iconic Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby, Fylingthorpe is a small village just inland from the coast. The village has a local dog friendly pub and a village store for all your holiday essentials.

Located at the top of Bay Bank, Fish Box is a small cafe/restaurant and takeaway serving fresh fish and chips daily. Opening can be affected by the weather so give them a call during adverse weather conditions.

Found on the south side of the village, Robin Hood's Museum is home to facinating displays about fishing, shipping, local history and geology. There's a model of a smugglers house and life size model of a local fisherwife! Check out their website for opening times.

Centrally located at the bottom of the hill in Robin Hood's Bay, Brambles is a steakhouse and bistro with cosy interiors and outside seating. Dogs are welcome but do need to be booked in advance.

Robin Hood's Bay is a pretty village nestled on the north coast with a good selection of independent shops on the cobbled streets leading down to the harbour and beach. Fossil hunters delight at the rich pickings here and the area is known as the jewel in the crown of the Yorkshire coast.
