Morecambe Bay is a sweeping coastline which stretches for miles in either direction. There are lots of facilities in Morecambe and a long promenade with fabulous views over the estuary towards the Lakeland fells. This beach is made up of sand and shingle and popular in summer months. Care should be taken with fast moving tides and there is no lifeguard cover. Dog restrictions apply during summer months however they are allowed on the promenade on a lead.

Situated in the Scaleber Wood Nature Reserve, Scaleber Force is a spectacular 40ft waterfall where Stockdale Beck tumbles over the cliffs into a deep pool. There is limited parking at the side of the road off High Hill Lane and the waterfall can be found along a footpath which is narrow and steep.
This is most probably the smallest art gallery in the world, found in a former BT telephone box!
