Nearby pub

Located in the centre of the pretty village of Cuckfield, the Rose and Crown is a delightful village pub with a restaurant, bar and large garden for al fresco dining. Check out their website for opening times and to reserve a table.

Nearby beach

Here you'll find a shingle beach which sits in-between Shoreham-by Sea and Worthing. Dogs are allowed year round which is great for dog walkers as there's a vast swathe of compact sand exposed at low tide. The beach is popular with sailors, windsurfers and kite-surfers. Please note there is no lifeguard cover.

Nearby walk

A nature reserve since 1967, Blunts Wood and Paige's Wood make up 22 acres of woodland. Criss-crossed with footpaths and a bridleway visit here to discover a great variety of wildlife including dormice, stoats and glow worms.

Nearby town

With a great selection of independent shops, it would be easy to mistake Cuckfield for a small town rather than a village. Beautifully kept and with a lovely selection of old buildings, Cuckfield is a pretty place and definitely worth a visit.

Also nearby

A family run traditional village pub where food is cooked to order and dogs are welcome. There's a large outside terrace and inside the decor is warm and cosy.
