DoubleTake to the Norfolk coast in the heart of Hunstanton and stay at Lynda's, a delightful single-storey property situated just a short walk from the beach, promenade and the bustling high street with its independent shops, deli, bar and restaurants.
Private and individually built, Lynda's sits next to the owner's property and is perfect for couples or solo travellers looking to escape the humdrum of everyday life. Large York flagstones lead to the entrance and an open plan living/kitchen/dining area with wooden flooring adding to its cosy vibe. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking your favourite home-cooked meals. Patio doors open to a high fenced garden, the perfect spot for relaxing, al fresco dining or catching the afternoon sun in complete privacy.
When the time calls to rest and recharge, head to bed and enjoy cosy sleeps in the double bedroom which has an en suite bathroom with small bath, fitted shower, WC and wash-basin.
Lynda's is dog-friendly and welcomes up to two dogs. There is plenty to see and do; Hunstanton offers a wealth of activities from bowling on the pier and visiting the arcades, to taking in a show at the theatre.
A short walk will take you to the beach, a great spot for sunbathing and fun times where you can have a go at kite surfing, paddle boarding or kayaking, or wander along the clifftops to Old Hunstanton Lighthouse which offers panoramic views of the surrounding coast. For indoor activities, head to Alive Oasis leisure centre which has a pool and gym.
Visit the RNLI Lifeboat Station which is next to a wonderful dog-friendly beach cafe, the perfect stop for a snack whilst taking in the views of the sea, colourful beach huts and sand dunes.
For seal spotting take a trip out on the Wash monster and explore the area at low tide on this amphibious vehicle. Why not climb aboard the Land Train along the clifftops or take the 'Coasthopper' towards Old Hunstanton and Brancaster and take in the scenic views. Or take a short drive to the Sandringham Estate which boasts stunning grounds and gardens.
We are sure having stayed at Lynda's you will want to come back time and time again!
