The dining-table takes pride of place, surrounded by the large picture windows that really let the light flood in and invite you to step outside to unwind in the garden and savour meals on the patio . The toasty wood-burner is a welcome sight on those out-of-season breaks, a good excuse to curl up with a good book or watch a holiday film together - when in Port Isaac that surely has to be 'Fisherman's Friends'.

There's a choice of three bedrooms, immaculate in their presentation, and after all that sea air it won't take you long to drift off to sleep. Bedroom one enjoys its own en suite shower-room and there's also a family bathroom with a large shower and a separate bath for lazy holiday soaks.
