Arriving at this seaside retreat you will adore and be transfixed by the sea view visible from both floors. An open plan living area, with a huge bay window overlooking the front courtyard garden and Mount's Bay beyond, leads to a modern kitchen, perfect to cook up a feast. Upstairs the king-size bedroom has a stylish en suite shower-room complete with invigorating power shower. The second bedroom is a comfortable double which has use of the ground floor shower-room.
If you prefer a break without a car, this sweet cottage is easily accessible by train (guests coming from London can travel overnight on the GWR Night Riviera sleeper train from Paddington to Penzance, to arrive at your destination relaxed after a soothing night's sleep).
A favourite for sea swimmers, just stroll across the road to the lapping shore for a refreshing dip or book a swim at Jubilee Pool, the iconic Art Deco lido with geometric design contrasting with the natural beauty of the sea.
Directly opposite, the popular Penzance 'prom' with palm trees and seating is just perfect for a morning or an evening stroll. Amble along to Bedford Bolitho Gardens at Wherrytown, situated on a former serpentine works, or wander further along to the premier fishing port of Newlyn. Take in the view of St Michael's Mount in the near distance, the lighthouse at Newlyn and far-reaching views of the Cornish coast.
